Heat Smart Canada collects as little information as possible.
Analytics. We use privacy respecting analytics to understand which guides people read, in aggregate. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
Advertising. If this site displays advertising, advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will keep working.
Email. If you contact us by email, we use your address only to reply. We never sell or rent contact information.

How we check our numbers
Every rebate amount and program rule on Heat Smart Canada is taken from the official program page and rechecked on a monthly cycle. Programs change without much warning, so each article carries the date its figures were last verified. Always confirm the current amount with the program before signing a contract.
